Community Outreach

The Community Outreach members would like to thank each CLF congregant for making the Bret Tarver Elementary Back to School summer project such a tremendous success. We collected 58 backpacks, numerous school supplies, and donated $1,208 for school uniforms which was matched by a foundation affiliated with the school. Your love and support made “Back to School” a joyful experience for many young children at Bret Tarver Elementary School.

With your support and the vision of T.C. and Naomi Potter, the Sand Dollar Thrift Store, located at 5118 W. Camelback Avenue, has opened and is thriving. The store provides a developmental venue for the woman of Sand Dollar Discovery House and a bargain shopping opportunity for the community. Please keep the Sand Dollar Thrift Store in your consciousness for your clothing and household item donations. Items may be left at CLF, the thrift store, or you may contact T.C. or Naomi at the store (623-463-8907) to arrange to have large donations picked up. Your love and generosity makes a difference in so many lives!
