Ministry
Our Peace
Ministry was established on September 11, 2005 by Rev. Mandira Simental.
She proposes a 2-2-2 Plan:
· Spend 2 hours a week working on peace (donating time to a peace
ministry or project, reading, studying, etc.)
· Donate $2/week to peace
· Pray, meditate or contemplate peace for 2 hours a week
MISSION
The peace ministry’s mission is to raise the consciousness level
about peace throughout the world and therefore create peace on earth now!
VISION
The Peace Ministry envisions a group of people working on arts and crafts
for peace, an ongoing group of concerts, meetings, seminars, dinners,
and other events to raise the consciousness of everyone we come in contact
with about peace.
The Peace Ministry
envisions an active outreach to other peace groups such as the Arizona
Department of Peace Campaign, Starshine Academy, Fushion, Peace Pals,
Franciscan Renewal Center and others. The Peace Ministry envisions working
with and talking to churches worldwide to set up peace activities.
The Peace Ministry
envisions talking with children, because young children know about peace.
They have not had time to learn anything else. May peace prevail upon
Earth.
SIGNIFICANCE
At no
time in the history of our planet has our Earth called us to step forward
and work on PEACE like it is now. We must come together in prayer and
oneness to stop the hurricanes and other events that are impacting our
lives.
Tucker Shaw says in
the book “Peace,” “IT’S ONE THING TO WISH FOR
WORLD PEACE. But it’s another thing to get up off the couch and
do something constructive about it. We all know we’ll never get
anywhere is we don’t have everyone working for peace . . . so how
are you making a difference now, and how will you contribute in the future?”
So ask yourself everyday,
“What does peace look like?” and “What can I do to bring
about peace now?” The Peace Ministry at CLF is for the purpose of
changing the paradigm on the planet about peace, going into Divine Mind,
and loading into that part of the program ideas of peace on Earth. It
is about learning to work on peace, think peace, be peace, contribute
to peace, and empower others to be peaceful. Only then, can the truth
of each of us as an individual expression of God on Earth come forth in
its fullness.
