CLF Gathers to Vision on May 10, 2008

One Saturday morning in early May, after being fed a wonderful pancake breakfast sponsored by Rick Hendel and company, 40 enthusiastic CLFers opened their minds and hearts to catch Spirit's vision for CLF. This heart-opening experience, facilitated by Karen Blades from Inner Light Ministries, took the form of an expanding visioning process. We visioned around the question:

"Who does CLF choose to be in the community and in the world?"

In addition to the typical visioning follow up questions, this process gave us the opportunity to express pictorially what we had experienced during the visioning. After we drew our visions, we each had a chance to describe our drawings. Themes were gleaned from those descriptions; and from the themes, we created a list of God qualities to be expressed.

Our work continues now as we discern the intent behind these themes and qualities and use them to establish some new directions and activities. We will keep you posted. In the meantime, please mark your calendar for Saturday morning, August 9, when we will gather together again to listen to Spirit's vision for CLF.
